WSL Transfer Talk

Transfer Rumours & Departures in the WSL

We’ve reached that point at the end of the Season when the moves begin.

I have a feeling this transfer window is going to be a busy one. With London City Lionesses securing their place in the WSL for next season, who else thinks they have the potential to shake up the league quite a bit?

I’ll update here with all the latest rumours and confirmations, so make sure to bookmark this page. Would love to know your thoughts on the ins and outs as we go along too x

New Contract

Starting with the ones staying put….

West Ham Manager Rehanne Skinner has reportedly signed to stay with the Hammers until 2026

Australian international Clare Wheeler has signed a new contract with Everton.

Departures Confirmed

Arsenal Teyah Goldie will leave the club when her contract expires in the Summer. Amanada Ilestedt will also leave the club when her contract expires at the end of the season. And to add a hat-trick of departures for the Gunners, Lina Hurtig will also depart the club at the end of the season.

Aston Villa – Jordan Nobbs is the first of four Villa departures announced today. Is she staying in the WSL or heading across the pond? Rachel Corsie, Dan Turner and Max Pacheco all confirmed their departures.

Chelsea – After 214 appearances, Sophie Ingle will leave the club at the end of the season. As a blue fan, this one hurts but goalkeeper Zećira Mušović has announced her departure. Whether she will head back to Sweden to be closer to her family once her baby is born is yet unknown.

Rumours – Our Favourite Part

Chloe Kelly – will she stay at Arsenal? I would be surprised if she didn’t to be honest, she’s been a breath of fresh air and surely cemented her England Lioness place this Summer as a result.

Beth Mead – a move up north? I’ve seen rumours about Manchester United and with Viv at Manchester City, a move up north could potentially be on the cards.

Laia Aleixandri – if not already confirmed then Laia moving to FC Barcelona looks highly likely.
