Molton Brown Orange and Bergamot Review
There are fragrances that just resonate with you, maybe to evoke special memories, maybe to evoke dreams of faraway places. Scents that are just classic and timeless. For me, Molton Brown’s Orange and Bergamot is all of the above. This was the fragrance that introduced me to the brand many, many years ago when I used their Orange and Bergamot hand wash, before smothering my hands in the lotion in a rather fancy London hotel bathroom. The next day I went and purchased both the hand products and that was it…..I was hooked.
The scent
Inspired by the bitter orange trees that perfume the vibrant streets and royal courtyards of Seville. Bursting with Andalusian sun-drenched notes of neroli, orange and bergamot. Molton Brown’s Orange and Bergamot is such a happy vibrant scent.
If you like warm, lively, fresh fragrances with a citrus note, then you will adore this. Their updated collection adds a contemporary twist of blossoming neroli and bright amber which provides the perfect modern extras to compliment and stay true to the original zesty scent.

Orange and Bergamot is such a fresh, vibrant and uplifting scent. It awakens and then transports to you to the sun-drenched Mediterranean, surrounded by blues skies and luscious olive groves. It’s the perfect Summer fragrance for the body and the home.
Molton Brown Orange and Bergamot Radiant Body Oil
This quickly become a huge favourite. A luxurious and uplifting zesty fragrance in a beautifully elegant glass bottle. This luminous dry oil is enriched with Sevillian neroli oil and imbued with bergamot, mandarin and cedar wood aromas. This is such a delightful light body oil that sinks into the skin leaving it feeling nourished and moisturised like a day in the Spa. My skin feels so soft without feeling greasy or sticky and the scent lingers beautifully. This is perfect after a lovely soak in the evening bath to get you through those Winter months, but is also a wonderful pick-me-up after a morning shower. For me though, its an essential for holidays and Summer nights out because it encapsulates that glorious ‘holiday smell’.

With the Summer months approaching fast, the Orange and Bergamot Radiant Body Polisher is the perfect accompaniment to get your skin beach ready after the long Winter months. Exfoliating with Mediterranean bitter orange peel and apricot kernels, help to refine and rejuvenate the skin. This is such a wonderful awakening radiance that leaves your skin smooth, silky soft and ready for those Summer blue skies.
To apply, gently message it on your skin using circular upward motions in the bath or the shower and rinse thoroughly with warm water, leaving you and your skin in Mediterranean heaven.
Overall thoughts
As a huge fan of the original Molton Brown Orange and Bergamot is nice to see they haven’t completely changed the scent like some brands do when they add a modern twist to it. Orange and Bergamot is my favourite ever scent, its instantly lifts me, and it’s so welcoming to walk into a room thats filled with this fragrance. Light enough not to over power, but still fragranced enough to ‘actually smell the fragrance’ and enjoy the aromas.
I think the new additions such as the body oil and eau de toilette are the perfect luxurious extension to the Orange and Bergamot family.
